For Hillary Clinton, The Devil Is In The Details

By Lawrence Lease on November 28, 2015

Hillary Clinton is making her race for the White House more difficult than it needs to be. I’m talking about all the scandals that she is facing.

For example, evidence was recently uncovered that foreign governments donated to the Clinton Foundation. Clinton Cash claims “foreign entities who made payments to the Clinton Foundation and to Mr. Clinton through high speaking fees received favors from Mrs. Clinton’s State Department in return.”

Secretary Clinton’s policy is “pay-to-play,” giving Americans the impression that Hillary Clinton is dishonest, untrustworthy and a web of corruption. She continues to play by rules that she believes do not apply to her and her husband; this has happened time and time again.

There is no evidence to show that it will change. Secretary Clinton’s image is one of a hardened, self-justifying former First Lady. She continues to blame others for the problems she encounters along the way often labeling them as part of the “right-wing conspiracy.”

She’s failed to prove she can wage a culture war against Republicans. Regardless of the claims she makes against the Republicans, they will respond energetically compared to the women and homosexuals who suffer in nations like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and other Middle East countries.

Those nations have appeared to have purchased the Clinton’s silence. Over the years the Clinton family has negotiated hundreds of transactions with foreign governments and individuals. In Clinton Cash, the author says “some of these transactions have put millions in their own pockets.”

“Of the 13 [Bill] Clinton speeches that fetched $500,000 or more,” Schweizer writes, “only two occurred during the years his wife was not secretary of state.” So much for being broke after leaving the White House.

It was recently revealed that Hillary Clinton reversed her stance on the US-Colombia trade deal after receiving a large donation from Frank Giustra, the founder of the Colombian oil company. He now serves as a board member of the Clinton Foundation.

In comparison to Bill, Former Secretary Clinton is not a naturally likable figure. Her latest ethical mishaps have decreased her appeal even more. The Republicans are now set to face a candidate with a large amount of “ethical” baggage but also a large pot of cash. Experts believe she will raise up to $2.5 billion. Beating her to the White House will be tough but can be done by the Republicans, if they choose the right candidate.
